Rainbows After Rain Lesson Plan

Students will understand feelings of grief when someone they care about is gone by identifying emotions in a story, discussing personal experiences, and expressing their feelings through drawing.

This lesson helps kindergartners recognize and name emotions, develop empathy for others who feel loss, and gain healthy approaches for expressing grief, building their emotional literacy and supportive classroom community.
