Relationship Rescue Lesson Plan

Students will learn strategies to navigate challenging peer relationships by practicing empathy, active listening, and conflict resolution. They will identify feelings, communicate using “I” statements, and apply a step-by-step conflict resolution process.

Healthy relationships support students’ social–emotional well-being and reduce conflicts. This lesson equips 7th graders with practical skills to empathize, communicate clearly, and resolve disputes constructively.
