Welcome students and introduce the lesson. Display the slide with a smooth gradient from #4A90E2 to #50A0E5. Say: “Today we’ll explore respect—what it means, why it matters, and how to show it every day.”

Use gradient background. Ask: “What does respect mean to you?” Give students 30 seconds to think and then invite 3–4 volunteers to share. Capture key words on the board.

Explain why respect matters for a healthy classroom community. Emphasize that respect reduces conflicts and builds trust.

Introduce the scenario cards. Divide students into groups of 3–4. Give each group 2–3 cards and instruct them to decide if the behavior shows respect and explain why.

Instruct groups to choose a new scenario for a quick role-play. Distribute the checklist handout so peers can observe and note respectful behaviors.

Show the key respectful behaviors. Encourage students to look for these during role-plays.

Prompt students to reflect individually. Hand out the reflection sheet. Give 2 minutes to write one specific action they’ll take this week.

Thank students for their participation. Encourage teachers to revisit the action steps throughout the week and recognize respectful actions.
