Welcome students to the Emotion Showdown finale! Explain that today’s session is a fun, competitive way to showcase everything they’ve learned about empathy, communication, and emotion regulation.

Model one quick charade for the group. Use the timer set to 1 minute. Encourage acting or drawing options for quieter students.

Keep track of each student’s turns and points on the scoreboard. Offer simple gestures or sounds if someone struggles with pantomime.

Hand out scenario cards. After each role-play, ask the class to decide how many points (0–3) to award based on communication clarity, empathy, and calm responses.

Distribute the Emotion Reflection Worksheet. Give students 3 minutes to write. Invite volunteers to share. Then announce winners and lead a round of applause.

Wrap up by reminding students that SEL skills grow with practice every day. Encourage them to notice emotions and use calming strategies beyond this session.
