Welcome, everyone! Today we're going on a sensory adventure. Introduce yourself as Lenny the Sense Explorer. Explain that we’ll learn about our five senses and find out which ones we like best.

Hold up each [Sensory Exploration Card](#sensory-exploration-cards) as you introduce each sense. Ask students to name the sense and point to the corresponding body part.

Show a picture or card for each sense. Ask: “What sense do we use here?” Encourage students to point or call out. Move through 3–4 examples quickly.

One by one, present each [Sensory Exploration Card](#sensory-exploration-cards). Ask: “Do you like how this looks/smells/feels/sounds/tastes?” Model the thumbs up/sideways/down before inviting students to share.

Distribute the [Sensory Preference Worksheet](#sensory-preference-worksheet). Model for the first sense: circle the happy/middle/sad face. Then let students complete the rest with crayons or pencils.

Invite 3–4 volunteers to come up or share at their seats. Ask each: “What’s your favorite sense? Where do you like to use it?” Praise all responses and affirm differences.

Congratulate the class on exploring their senses. Remind them that everyone’s senses are unique and that it’s okay to have different preferences.
