Shape Safari: Discovering Shapes

Welcome the class and introduce the theme of the lesson. Mention that the children are going on a 'Shape Safari' and they will explore different shapes. Explain that this is a fun way to learn about shapes like circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles.

Introduction to Shapes

Use the poster to highlight each shape. Encourage participation by asking students where they have seen these shapes in the classroom or at home.

Shape Exploration Activity

Guide the students through the shape exploration activity. Hand out the shape cards and circulate to help students match their cards with corresponding shapes on the poster.

Closing and Recap

Wrap up the lesson with a quick recap. Invite students to point out examples of each shape that they see in the room to reinforce learning.
