Slide Deck

Recipe Builder Slides

Welcome students! Today we’ll learn how to structure a recipe for a quick, healthy snack. Use this slide deck as your guide when designing your own snack recipes.

Snack Design Criteria

Explain the three key criteria: minimal prep time, balanced nutrition (protein, fiber, healthy fats), and creativity. Encourage students to think about flavor and presentation.

Recipe Template

Walk students through each section of the recipe template. Point out where they will write measurements, steps, and nutrition highlights.

Example Recipe

Show this sample to illustrate how each section is filled. Emphasize clear descriptions and accurate measurements.

Your Turn

Invite students to start drafting in their groups. Remind them to refer back to the criteria slide as they work.

Present & Review

Explain that after designing, each group will present their recipe and use the peer review rubric to give feedback. Set expectations for clear speaking and constructive feedback.
