Session 2: Inclusion & Friendship

Welcome students. Today we focus on inclusion and friendship. Briefly review what we did last time. Explain that today’s session will help everyone welcome and support classmates.

Warm-Up: Compliment Chain

Have students stand in a circle. Model whispering a compliment gently. Encourage variety of compliments linked to class behaviors.

Mini-Lesson: Inclusion & Friendship Skills

Write “Inclusion” on the board. Call on volunteers to define it; chart responses. Introduce key friendship skills.

Activity: Inclusion Role-Play

Divide into groups of 3–4. Hand out scenario cards. Circulate to support planning and encourage use of friendly language.

Group Performances & Discussion

After each skit, lead discussion by asking the two reflection questions. Record student answers on the board.

Explain the tag rules clearly and model a round if needed. Emphasize gentle tagging and teamwork.
