Slide Deck

Stand Up, Speak Out

Welcome the student and introduce today’s session objectives: recognizing bullying and learning to respond assertively. Mention we’ll have fun activities and a special certificate at the end.

What Is Bullying?

Display the [Bullying Definition Poster](#bullying-definition-poster). Explain that bullying is intentional, repeated, and hurts someone who can’t easily defend themselves. Ask the student if they’ve seen or felt this.

Let’s Spot Bullying

Shuffle the [Bullying Scenario Cards](#bullying-scenario-cards). Read the example on the slide and have the student decide if it’s bullying. Ask how the target might feel.

Assertive Responses

Hand out the [Assertive Response Script Handout](#assertive-response-script-handout). Read aloud each phrase, modeling tone, posture, and eye contact. Have the student repeat.

Role-Playing Practice

Use two scenario cards. First, you act as the bully, student practices responding. Then swap roles. Offer positive feedback on voice and body language.

Reflect & Plan

Give the [Reflection Worksheet](#bullying-reflection-worksheet). Guide the student to list their personal strengths and two trusted adults.

You Did It!

Celebrate the student’s efforts and bravery. Present the [Confidence Building Certificate](#confidence-building-certificate) and encourage them to use their new skills.
