Strength in Unity

Introduce the lesson with enthusiasm. Explain that today we will learn about resilience, which means being strong even when things are difficult. Encourage students to think about how they help each other stay strong.

What is Resilience?

Discuss the definition of resilience in simple terms that third graders can understand. Use examples such as bouncing back when you fall down or trying again after a mistake.

Teamwork in Action

Show examples and ask the students to share times when they worked together to overcome a problem. This slide should encourage participation and discussion.

Reflect and Share

Encourage students to reflect on the lesson. Remind them that each of their contributions makes the class a strong team. Ask them to think about one thing they can do to be more resilient.
