Introduce the title and purpose of the lesson. Explain that we are going to talk about feelings and ways to calm down when emotions get big.

What are Emotions?

Discuss what emotions are, using simple language. Ask the student to name a few feelings they know.

Different Emotions

Show the Emotion Regulation Visuals and point out different facial expressions. Engage the student by asking them to mimic the expressions.

Learning About ADHD

Introduce ADHD in a simple, friendly way, emphasizing that it makes some parts of feeling and being active a bit more challenging, but everyone is unique.

Time for a Role-Play

Engage the student in a role-playing game using the scenario cards. Encourage them to express their feelings and practice calming techniques.

Wrap-Up & Reflection
