Students will collaborate in small teams to create a team name, mascot, handshake, and color palette, practicing communication, creativity, and group decision-making.

Team Spirit Showdown

Welcome students to the activity. Briefly introduce yourself and the session’s purpose. Set a positive, energetic tone.

Kickoff & Rules (3 min)

Read aloud the slide. Emphasize each success criterion and the overall timing. Invite questions before moving on.

Team Formation (2 min)

Quickly divide students, assign roles, and hand out materials. Ensure each team has a Scribe, Presenter, and a timekeeper.

Brainstorming Session (8 min)

Circulate to encourage shy students. Prompt teams to vote on their top ideas before time expires.

Design Phase (10 min)

Prompt teams to think about how their mascot reflects their name and colors. Keep energy high.

Showcase & Debrief (7 min)

Manage time so each team has 2–3 minutes. After both presentations, guide the reflection discussion.
