Classroom Crew Quest Lesson Plan

Students will learn each other’s names and interests and collaboratively establish 3–4 core class values in a fun, interactive 15-minute session to foster belonging and respect.

Building community on day one helps kindergarteners feel safe, connected, and ready to learn. When children know peers’ names and co-create values, they develop empathy, confidence, and a positive classroom climate.
