Slide Deck

What Does Calm Feel Like?

Welcome students. Today we’ll explore what calm feels like in our bodies. Use a soft voice and model relaxed posture as you introduce the slide.

Soft Shoulders

Pause after each bullet to let students feel the change. Encourage them to gently drop their shoulders.

Gentle Breath

Demonstrate a slow inhale and exhale with hands on your belly. Invite students to follow.

Quiet Heart

Explain that noticing the heart can help us slow down. Encourage students to place a hand on their chest.

Connected Feet

Guide students to press their feet into the floor. Emphasize connection to the ground helps with calm.

Calm Breathing Exercise

Lead students through a full breathing cycle. Count slowly and model the pace.

Share & Remember

Invite volunteers to share how their body feels calm. Remind them they can use these cues anytime.
