What Drives You?

Introduce the lesson by welcoming students and providing an overview on motivation and purpose. Explain the objective: to help them understand internal and external motivators.

Understanding Motivation

Discuss the definition of motivation, differentiating between internal (self-driven) and external (influenced by outside factors). Use simple examples, e.g., feeling proud of an achievement (internal) vs. rewards (external).

Motivators in Action

Show engaging visuals related to internal and external motivators. Ask students to consider which motivators are more effective for them and why.

Your Personal Motivators

Encourage students to reflect on their own motivators and picture how these can help them reach their future goals. Prompt them to discuss in small groups.

Reflection & Takeaway

Wrap up the lesson by reinforcing the importance of understanding one's own motivations as a step towards effective goal setting and personal growth.
