What If I Can?

Welcome the students with enthusiasm. Introduce the title and the main idea of the lesson in a simple and engaging way. Explain that today, we'll learn about how we can change our thoughts to be positive.

Changing Negative to Positive

Explain the concept of negative and positive thoughts using simple language. Use a friendly tone to ask if anyone has ever felt sad or worried and explain that we can change those feelings.

Introduce the Growth Mindset video to reinforce how changing our thoughts empowers us. Encourage students to watch and think about how trying hard can lead to improvement.

Exploring Possibilities

Introduce the discussion guidelines and questions. Remind children to listen, share respectfully, and be open. Encourage them to share their thoughts if they feel comfortable.

Role-Play Activity

Introduce the interactive role-play activity. Explain the scenario of someone feeling negative and demonstrate how to reframe that thought. Encourage the students to play out the scenario.

Your Turn!

Encourage the students to share their own ideas. Invite them to suggest other scenarios and repeat the positive affirmations together.

Remember...

Wrap up the lesson by summarizing key points and reminding the children that every time they feel negative, they have the power to change it. End with an affirmation and a big smile!
