Slide Deck

Welcome to Emotion Vocabulary!

Introduce the slide deck by welcoming the students, explaining that they will learn about different emotion words. Highlight that these words can help us understand our feelings better.

What is Emotion?

Present clear definitions for each emotion word using visuals. Encourage students to look at the images and think about times when they might feel the same.

See It to Believe It

Show visuals that represent each emotion word. Explain the facial expressions or scenes depicted and ask students to guess the emotion.

Let's Play a Matching Game!

Guide the students in a matching game. They should work in small groups to match emotion words to the visuals. Monitor the groups and ask guiding questions.

Reflection Time

Use this slide to transition into the reflection activity. Encourage students to discuss and share one emotion they learned today and how the corresponding picture made them feel.
