Slide Deck

Feelings and Faces

Introduce the slide deck by asking the students if they've ever seen someone who looks happy, sad, or angry and what they think these feelings mean. Encourage participation by asking for examples. Remind students that facial expressions can help us understand how someone feels even before they speak.

Recognizing Emotions

Explain that everyone feels these emotions at different times and it's okay to have them. Ask students to think of a time when they showed one of these expressions.

Why Do We Feel This Way?

Encourage discussion by asking: 'What might make someone feel this way?' This will help them connect emotions with real-life situations.

Every Emotion is Important

Engage students by discussing common scenarios that might evoke different emotions. Ask them to share their personal experiences if they feel comfortable.

Let's Talk About Feelings

Wrap up the slide deck by reinforcing that everyone experiences a range of emotions and encouraging them to share any questions or feelings they might have about the lesson.
