Introduce the topic by welcoming students and explaining that we will learn about different feelings and how they affect our actions. Encourage students to think about what feelings they know.

What Are Emotions?

Discuss common feelings. Ask students to identify emotions they've felt and write these on the board. Emphasize open sharing and listening.

Emotions and Actions

Explain that feelings can lead to actions. Show examples where strong emotions might cause someone to hit and discuss alternative responses.

Choosing Peaceful Actions

Introduce alternative responses. Ask students for ideas on how to deal with strong feelings peacefully. Encourage role-play or discussion.

Review and Reflect

Review the key points of the slide deck. Remind students that understanding emotions is the first step to choosing peaceful actions. Ask if they have any questions.
