Why Growth Mindset Is Your Superpower

Welcome students to the lesson and get them excited! Introduce the title and explain that today's class is about understanding a special kind of superpower that each one of them has.

What is a Growth Mindset?

Explain in simple terms what a growth mindset is. Ask questions like 'What happens when you try, even if it’s hard?' to gauge understanding.

Your Superpower in Action

Describe growth mindset as a superpower. Use examples relatable to 2nd graders (like learning to ride a bike!). Encourage them to think of their own examples.

Time for Role-Play!

Introduce the role-play activity. Explain that they will act out scenarios where they use their growth mindset superpower to solve everyday problems.

Wrap-Up & Reflection

Wrap-up slide: Encourage sharing and reflection. Ask each student to share one thing they learned today about using their growth mindset.
