Slide Deck

What Is Mindfulness?

Introduce the concept of mindfulness. Explain what mindfulness means in simple terms. Use visuals of a bustling, cloudy sky vs. a clear, calm sky to illustrate a busy mind versus a calm mind.

Busy Mind vs. Calm Mind

Discuss and relate to the students. Ask the students to think or share examples of how their minds feel when they are busy versus calm. Relate to their daily experiences.

Mindful Breathing

Initiate the mindful breathing exercise using visuals of bubbles. Encourage students to close their eyes if they feel comfortable and try the exercise.

Connecting With Calm

Consolidate the key points using calming images. Use icons like hearts and smiles to represent feelings of calmness and happiness.

Thank You & Reflect

Wrap up the session with a summary slide. Use imagery that reinforces calmness (e.g., soft colors, peaceful scenes) and include a reflective prompt for students.
