Play-Based Regulation Stations

Students will rotate through four play-based sensory stations tied to each Zone of Regulation to identify emotions, practice self-regulation strategies, and reflect on their energy levels.

Integrating sensory play with the Zones framework helps kindergarteners build emotional awareness and self-regulation skills in an engaging, hands-on way—supporting positive behavior and readiness to learn.
