# Cooperation Challenge Game Set This printable game set includes two cooperative team-building challenges: **Human Knot** and **Minefield**. Each challenge card provides step-by-step instructions, equipment lists, role cards, and facilitator tips. Human Knot **Materials Needed:**
- 1 rope or piece of string (to define circle space, optional)
- Open floor space

**Step-by-Step Instructions:**
1. Form groups of 4–6 students in a small circle.
2. Each student reaches across and grabs two different classmates’ hands.
3. Without letting go, work together to untangle the “knot” and form a circle.
4. Use verbal planning, patience, and turn-taking.
5. Celebrate when the group untangles!

**Role Cards:**
- Facilitator: Guides discussion before starting to designate who suggests moves.
- Timekeeper: Watches the clock and reports remaining time.
- Connector: Makes sure everyone feels included and speaks up if they’re stuck.

**Facilitator Tips:**
- Encourage one person to speak at a time.
- Ask the group to pause and plan if they get stuck.

1. In each group, assign one student as the **Navigator** (blindfolded) and the rest as **Guides**.
2. Guides stand outside the course and give only verbal directions (e.g., “Two steps forward, turn right”).
3. Navigator moves slowly, listening carefully to avoid mines.
4. If the Navigator touches a cone, pause and reset to the start.
5. Rotate roles until everyone has been Navigator and Guide.

**Role Cards:**
- Navigator: Follows verbal instructions; practices active listening.
- Lead Guide: Gives clear, concise directions.
- Checker: Asks Navigator to confirm each instruction (“Did you hear ‘left’?”).

**Facilitator Tips:**
- Model concise directional language (left, right, forward, back).
