In this 30-minute one-on-one session, a teacher will guide a 3rd grader who struggles with self-confidence through setting a personal academic or social goal. By breaking the goal into manageable steps and celebrating small wins, the student learns planning and self-encouragement skills. This Tier 3 lesson builds self-esteem and empowers the student to achieve a meaningful target.
In this 30-minute Tier 2 small-group session, 4th graders will complete a formative assessment to gauge their current skills in emotional regulation and self-control. This quick check provides targeted insights to inform next steps in their social-emotional learning, helping teachers tailor support and helping students become more self-aware.
In this 30-minute Tier 2 group session for 4th graders, students will rotate through three interactive stations to strengthen self-control and boost self-esteem. Through fun exercises and reflection, students gain practical strategies for managing emotions and celebrating personal strengths.
In this 30-minute individual session, a fourth-grade student will learn to set academic and personal goals to boost confidence, manage testing anxiety, and improve friendships. By guiding her through age-appropriate activities and reflections, she’ll walk away with clear, actionable goals and a plan to achieve them.
