Slide Deck

Your Day at a Glance

Welcome the student and explain the purpose of this deck: to map out their day visually. Encourage them to think about school, homework, chores, and breaks.

Time-Block Template

Guide the student through labeling each time slot. Encourage realistic start and end times for each activity. Remind them to include buffer slots.

Example Schedule

Show how a filled-in schedule might look. Explain why you’ve given certain tasks longer blocks and where you added breaks.

Tips for Realistic Planning

Point out best practices: realistic time estimates, built-in breaks, and room for unexpected tasks (buffers).

Next: Prioritize Your Tasks

Prime the student for the next activity: sorting tasks by priority. Remind them that a plan works best when you tackle the most important things first.
