Welcome the students and introduce the topic. Explain that these are tools or strategies that can help them when they are feeling stressed or upset.

Deep Breathing

Show an image of deep breathing or animated sequence illustrating deep breathing. Engage with a question: 'Have you ever taken a deep breath? How did it help you feel better?'

Counting to 10

Discuss the concept of counting to 10 or a calm down number sequence. Ask students to participate or mimic counting. Relate it to taking a moment before reacting.

Drawing Your Feelings

Show a slide with simple drawings of activities like drawing or artwork, emphasizing creative expression as a coping method. Ask if anyone has tried drawing when upset.

Summarize the tools discussed. Encourage students to remember these strategies and try them out whenever needed. Invite any additional ideas or personal techniques the students might have.
