Welcome to Feelings Fiesta!

Introduce the topic of emotional literacy. Explain that today we'll start our fun journey of learning about different feelings using images and simple words.

Session 1: Recognize and Name Emotions

Focus on Session 1 objectives: recognizing and naming emotions. Use images of faces showing happiness, sadness, anger, and surprise. Ask students to point out the emotion they see.

Session 2: Understanding Emotional Causes

Session 2 will engage children in understanding what causes different emotions. Use simple scenarios and story cards to ask questions like, 'What makes you feel happy?'

Session 3: Expressing & Managing Feelings

For Session 3, we encourage role-playing and creative expression. Remind children that it's okay to show how we feel, and share one positive thought or coping strategy for each emotion.
