Welcome to Expressing Our Feelings!

Introduce the lesson by explaining that it's okay to have different feelings. Emphasize that all feelings matter and that expressing them can help us feel better.

Different Feelings, Different Colors

Point to simple visuals showing smiley faces and illustrate variety of emotions. Encourage students to name the feelings they see.

How Do You Feel?

Explain that it's normal to feel many different things. Use the presented images to prompt discussion about times they felt these emotions.

Express It Your Way!

Model an example of expressing an emotion. Perhaps share a short narrative or do a role-playing activity where you express a feeling using gestures or drawing.

Remember...

Wrap up with a summary. Remind the students that sharing feelings can help us understand each other better and feel good inside.
