Welcome to Feelings Unleashed!

Introduce the topic and welcome the student. Use simple language to explain what feelings are and why it's important to express them appropriately.

Happy Feelings

Show pictures of a happy face and ask the student to identify what makes them happy. Encourage sharing a personal happy moment.

Sad Feelings

Display images of a sad face and ask the student what might make someone feel sad. Explain it's okay to feel sad and discuss ways to express it.

Angry Feelings

Introduce anger in a non-threatening way with simple visuals. Discuss how anger can feel strong and overwhelming, and hint towards calming strategies.

Calm Down Strategies

Present a few calm down strategies such as deep breathing or counting to ten. Encourage the student to repeat these techniques out loud.
