Welcome the student to the Self-Care Strategies Overview. Explain that self-care spans multiple domains and we’ll explore examples in each. Encourage them to think about which resonate most.

Physical Self-Care

Introduce physical self-care. Emphasize small, achievable activities. Ask the student which they already practice and which they’d like to try.

Emotional Self-Care

Discuss emotional self-care. Highlight how processing feelings supports stress management. Invite the student to share experiences with any of these practices.

Social Self-Care

Explain the importance of social connections. Encourage the student to consider their support network and how they can engage meaningfully.

Creative Self-Care

Explore creative self-care. Stress that creative outlets can be calming and offer perspective. Ask which forms of expression they enjoy.
