Introduce the session by explaining that the lesson will help us learn how to manage feelings of anger and stay calm, just like taming a volcano.

Identify Your Emotions

Discuss the idea of anger and how it can build up like a volcano. Use the Emotion Thermometer Chart as a visual aid to show different levels of anger.

Anger Management Strategies

Explain and demonstrate calm-down techniques such as deep breathing, counting, and visualization. Distribute the Calm Down Strategy Cards and encourage role-playing.

Wrap-Up & Reflection

Recap the main points of the session. Ask the student to reflect on which strategy might work best for them and provide positive reinforcement.
