What is Anxiety?

Explain the concept of anxiety in simple terms. Ask the student what they think anxiety is and describe it as a normal feeling that we can manage.

Identifying Your Triggers

Discuss common triggers. Provide examples and prompt the student to think about their own experiences.

Coping Strategies

Present a variety of coping strategies using simple, relatable text and images. Encourage the student to think about which one might work for them.

Your Personal Reflection

Encourage the student to reflect on a coping strategy they tried or like, and discuss what made it effective. Use reflective questions to deepen the discussion.

Keep Building Your Toolbox

Conclude by reinforcing that managing anxiety is a process and encouragement to keep using these tools. Remind the student that it's a personal journey of discovery.
