Slide Deck

Friendship Qualities Visual Tour

Welcome students and introduce the purpose of this slide deck: to explore the core qualities of true friendship. Explain that for each quality, we will read the definition, see a visual, and discuss a real‐life example.

Trust

Display an image of two friends shaking hands or high-fiving. Emphasize that trust is the foundation of every friendship.

Kindness

Show a heart or helping-hand graphic. Explain how small acts of kindness build strong bonds.

Respect

Use an image of two people listening to each other respectfully. Stress that respect means valuing each other’s feelings and opinions.

Empathy

Display an image of someone comforting a friend. Highlight that empathy is feeling what others feel.

Loyalty

Show a graphic of two friends standing side by side. Point out that loyalty means sticking by friends through good times and bad.

Honesty

Use an image of a speech bubble with a checkmark. Explain that honesty means being truthful and open.

Generosity

Show hands exchanging a gift. Emphasize that generosity is giving time, attention, or resources.

Support

Display an image of two people standing together under an umbrella. Discuss how support means being there emotionally and practically.

Recap & Reflection

Guide students to review all 8 qualities and choose one to focus on in their own behavior today. Optionally, have them write it on a sticky note and post on the board.
