This 4-session lesson aims to educate middle school boys on reducing sexism and bias, fostering a more respectful and inclusive environment. Through engaging activities, discussions, and reflections, students will learn to recognize and challenge stereotypes, promoting equality and understanding. Each session lasts 45 minutes and includes visual supports and teaching assistance to accommodate IEPs.

Students will design and create their own mindfulness spaces to encourage relaxation and focus. By understanding the elements that contribute to a calming environment, students will learn to manage stress and improve their mental wellbeing.

Students will explore the concept of emotions and how they impact behavior through interactive activities. Emotional awareness is key to developing empathy and self-regulation skills. This lesson is designed for a 5th grade class and will be completed in a single 40-minute session.
